Jason serves as Chairman of the Restorative Justice Committee at Ebenezer United Methodist Church located in Houston’s historic Independent Heights community. He is also a local Sports Official and enjoys the responsibility of being a caregiver to his elderly parents and encouraging others to maintain health and wellness. He is the proud father of two adult daughters who also graduated from Prairie View A&M.

Brief info
Jason is a lifelong Houstonian and a product of the Houston Independent School District, attending James D. Burress Elementary School, Ruby Sue Clifton Middle School, and graduating from Booker T. Washington High School in 1991. He received several scholarships to pursue a degree in Accounting from Prairie View A&M University, graduating in 1995. He obtained further academic and professional credentials throughout his career, including becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 2004, and has worked as an Accountant and Auditor for over 20 years.
